Skye Winter was born and raised on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Daughter of famed artist Eric Winter and goldsmith Nadine Winter she and her younger sister Lana were surrounded by art and creativity throughout their whole childhood.

     Photography has been her passion since she can remember.  Taking daily photos and capturing life, light, and the beauty that she sees in the world around her makes her heart happy.

     She has been taking painting lessons off and on since her late teens, studying at the Savannah College of Art & Design for one year in 2001.

     Skye has been taking classes with a local artist over the past two years since she's lived in the Orlando area, that timespan is when many of these paintings were completed.
